At Chase the Light Adventures, our workshops are intentionally small, hands-on, and built around real wildlife encounters—not crowded bus tours. You’ll learn how to anticipate behavior, use light intentionally, and capture powerful images while immersed in some of the world’s most iconic wild places.
Our workshops are best suited for intermediate to advanced photographers who are comfortable operating their camera in manual or semi-manual modes. If you’re unsure whether a trip is right for you, reach out — we’re happy to guide you.
We intentionally keep our groups small to maximize instruction and shooting opportunities. Most workshops range from 4–8 participants depending on the destination.
A DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto lens is recommended for wildlife-focused trips. After booking, you’ll receive a detailed gear guide tailored to your specific workshop.
Inclusions vary by destination. Each workshop page clearly outlines what is included (lodging, meals, transportation, park fees, etc.) so there are no surprises.
Wildlife is never guaranteed — that’s part of the authenticity of photographing in the wild. However, trips are scheduled around peak seasons and led by an experienced guide who understands animal behavior and optimal shooting conditions.
A deposit is required to reserve your spot. Cancellation terms are outlined on each workshop page. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment.
